The Galactic Republic, Disney/ABC Television Group, Lucasfilm and Netflix Inc. today announced the highly anticipated debut of the sixth and final season of the Emmy® Award-winning series Star Wars: The Clone Wars exclusively to Netflix members in the U.S. and Canada on Friday, March 7. Accompanying the 13-episode new season dubbed “The Lost Missions” will be the entire Star Wars: The Clone Wars saga, which includes several director’s cut episodes never seen on TV as well as the feature film. A week after a mysterious crate was discovered deep in the Canadian wilderness, information about its contents are finally being released.  Examined in a secure facility near Whistler in British Columbia, television personality Ajay Fry and Donkey Kong himself have revealed what the  much-speculated crate contained – and it’s totally bananas! Snowed In Studios is pleased to announce that Windforge is available for sale as a pre-release on the game’s official site. In addition, WindForge received the green light from the Steam Community on January 7th and will be launched on March 11, 2014, on the Steam Store. The game has been partially funded by a Kickstarter campaign, which ran from November 6 to December 6 2013, and was successful thanks to the backers who got behind the title to contribute just over $50,000 to complete the game. This financial contribution allowed Snowed In Studios, who offer work-for-hire game development services, to continue production and bring their first original title to market as planned. Ubisoft® has announced that single-player adventure, Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry, will be available as a stand-alone game exclusively for download on PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment systems for $14.99 on February 18. The game will also be available for PC on February 25 for $14.99. Originally released as an add-on adventure for Assassin’s Creed® IV Black Flag™, Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry will not require the purchase of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag. A total of 27 new interactive digital media projects have received a combined total of $6.5 million as part of the Canada Media Fund’s (CMF) Experimental Stream second round of funding for development and marketing support. Eight of those projects will receive a total of $1.6 million for Marketing Support, while $4.9 million will provide Development Support to 19 game, interactive content platform and social media projects. Cashtronauts is a retro arcade-style game for one to four players split into two game modes: Venture & Skirmish. Players get to choose their ship and their play style.
