Telefilm Canada has announced its support of nearly $13 million towards the production of nine English-language feature films through the Canada Feature Film Fund. Telefilm Canada invites producers to submit their feature films to the pan-Canadian Oscar selection committee for a chance to represent Canada for consideration as a possible nominee in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 87th Academy Awards. In order to be considered, films must have been released commercially in theatres for at least seven consecutive days between October 1, 2013 and September 30, 2014 in 35 mm, 70 mm or Digital Cinema Package (DCP)1 format. DisneyXD has commissioned a 10-episode order of its recently piloted series Gaming Show (In My Parents’ Garage) for the 2014/2015 television season.
