Telefilm Canada is very pleased that the Audiovisual Coproduction Treaty (PDF) between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Republic of India came into effect on July 1, 2014. The Canada Media Fund (CMF) announced on Monday the nomination of David McLennan to the CMF’s Board of Directors following the General Assembly held in Montreal last Wednesday. Mr. McLennan has more than 20 years’ experience as a senior business executive. He joined Sierra Wireless in 2004 as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary. This summer, Disney Junior is giving kids something to quack about with the premiere of the network’s first-ever original movie, Lucky Duck. Debuting Saturday, July 12 at 6 p.m. ET the animated musical film features the voices of Broadway and television stars Christian Borle, Megan Hilty (both of Smash) and Tom Cavanagh (Royal Pains) as a trio of misfit tub toys who embark on an epic journey to find kids who will love them, just the way they are.
