Canada Media Fund Awards 6.5 Million In Funding To Twenty-Seven New Interactive Digital Media Projects

A total of 27 new interactive digital media projects have received a combined total of $6.5 million as part of the Canada Media Fund’s (CMF) Experimental Stream second round of funding for development and marketing support. Eight of those projects will receive a total of $1.6 million for Marketing Support, while $4.9 million will provide Development Support to 19 game, interactive content platform and social media projects.

Zéphir, the young owner of an apartment building, is found dead. Six of his tenants are suspected of killing him for installing hidden cameras in their apartments to film them without their knowledge. In order to identify the murderer, the investigator on the case enlists online help to look over video footage found at the scene of the crime, analyse exchanges between suspects (text messages, emails and phone calls) and monitor their activity on different social media. Players are invited to join in on the action to help solve the mystery on the Le Judas game website.
