GamerCamp Level 3 is coming to Toronto’s Bathurst Street Theatre (and other various venues around Toronto) on November 25th-27th, and this is shaping to be the event’s biggest – and possibly best – festival to date (at least until Level 4). Family Channel makes its mark with Canadian students as it launches its ninth annual Bullying Awareness Week (November 14-20). This year the campaign, entitled What’s Up, Stand UP! features a special programming event, beginning at 4:00 p.m. ET/PT on Monday, November 14, along with bullying-themed programming throughout the week and new original content. The International Mobile Game Awards (IMGA), a competition that brings together the key players in the mobile gaming industry for a celebration of creativity and innovation, is now open for entries. Now in its 8th year, the IMGA is the longest-running and most prestigious competition for the mobile entertainment industry. Over the last seven years the IMGA has reviewed more than 1,500 mobile games from over 52 countries. Participants include PhD students, researchers, artists, individual developers and the top 10 mobile games publishers and developers. Entrants can register and submit their game on the IMGA website.
