The latest edition of the Norton Online Family Report sheds new light on the realities and risks of growing up in the digital age. This year’s report identifies the new issue of “cyberbaiting,” a growing phenomenon where kids taunt their teachers, then capture the distressed reactions via cell phone videos. In addition, the report reveals a surprisingly high number of kids taking liberties with their parents’ credit cards for shopping online. After meeting and spending some time with Gene Simmons and family at the Hastings Racecourse this past summer, Rosanna Saraceno wanted nothing more than to share this amazing experience with her schoolmates at Vancouver Technical Secondary. Peanuts Worldwide and Loud Crow Interactive Inc., today announced a multi-year partnership to produce a series of interactive digital book apps based on the popular PEANUTS animated television specials. The first title launching today is “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” is available now for iOS and Android mobile devices. In this re-telling of the iconic Christmas classic, the book features original animations, voices, and musical scores from the 1965 television special. Distribution360 has announced the sale of three hit preschool series to Hop! Channel in Israel, which is dedicated to preschoolers and their parents. Included in the deal is the hit Blue Zoo-produced animated preschool series Olive the Ostrich, which has been receiving stellar ratings on Nick Jr. in the U.K. since its launch in September; and the marblemedia-produced live action series This is Daniel Cook and This is Emily Yeung, which have aired in over 90 countries, including the U.S. on Disney Junior.
