8th International Mobile Game Awards Open For Entries

imga [1]The International Mobile Game Awards [2] (IMGA), a competition that brings together the key players in the mobile gaming industry for a celebration of creativity and innovation, is now open for entries. Now in its 8th year, the IMGA is the longest-running and most prestigious competition for the mobile entertainment industry. Over the last seven years the IMGA has reviewed more than 1,500 mobile games from over 52 countries. Participants include PhD students, researchers, artists, individual developers and the top 10 mobile games publishers and developers. Entrants can register and submit their game on the IMGA website [2].

Entry to the competition is free, and it is open to games published in 2011 or to games which have not yet been published. Developers are invited to submit games designed for any mobile phone platform. Nominations and awards are issued by a jury made up of key players in the mobile entertainment industry and the winners will be announced on 1 March 2012 in Barcelona.
